Electronics for air suspension

Here you can find individual electronic components for air suspension kits. We offer pressure switches and sensors for controlling compressors and valve manifolds. You’ll also find raise/lower buttons, solenoids, and control units here.

What Is a Solenoid/Valve Used in Air Suspension Valve Manifolds?

A solenoid valve consists of an electromagnet and a valve. When current is supplied to the electromagnet, a magnetic field is created that pulls the valve’s plunger or diaphragm, opening or closing the valve’s passage. By regulating the current to the electromagnet, the opening and closing time of the valves can be precisely controlled, which in turn manages the airflow in the system.

In an air suspension system, solenoid valves are used to adjust the amount of air entering or leaving the air springs. By opening or closing the solenoid valves, you can increase or decrease the air pressure in the bellows, which in turn affects the vehicle’s ride height.
