The smaller variant of quick releases, perfect for bumpers or smaller parts, is the Dzus fastener. This lock uses two parts - a female and a male. The female is a weld plate mounted on the car, while the male is a type of twist lock/screw that easily locks together with the female. These take up very little space and are incredibly convenient to use.

Recently, new products in hood locks have been released. Push-clips have become popular and are also a discreet model. These come in different sizes and two colors - silver and black.
