5 tips: How to make your car better
Are you thinking about styling or improving your Chevrolet LS (1-9) Engines? Here are 5 tips on how you can make your car more fun!
- Body kit. A simple and affordable upgrade that really lifts the exterior of your car. A body kit from, for example, Maxton Design lowers the car a little, making it look lower.
- Spacers. Moving your wheels and tires out makes the car look wider. It also looks like the wheels fit better on the car, which immediately enhances the appearance.
- Brake pads. Switching to sportier brake pads not only makes a difference in feel and braking performance, but if you buy a pair of ceramic pads, they also produce very little dust, which reduces the need to wash the rims.
- Lowering kit. A cheap upgrade to your car's suspension is to change to lowering springs. This gives your car sportier handling and a better appearance since it also lowers the car. The most common lowering is about 20-35mm from the original height.
- Exhaust system. Installing a complete sports exhaust system or just a sports muffler makes an incredible difference to the car. With a sportier and louder sound, it becomes significantly more fun to drive!
