Air Management Systems - Air Lift Performance

We offer all Air Lift Performance control systems with fast delivery and competitive pricing. The 4-way manual kit is the perfect starter package if you’re new to air suspension. However, if you’re looking for remote control and app-based operation (iPhone / Android), then the 3H & 3P systems are the right choice for you.

The 3H & 3P systems are Air Lift’s flagship products, featuring height sensors (3H) and pressure sensors (3H/3P), available in various configurations. You can choose the air hose diameter to achieve either more precise or faster raising/lowering speeds. Systems are available with or without a compressor. A highly popular feature is mobile control, allowing you to manage your air suspension directly through an app. Pair your control system with one of our vehicle-specific or universal air suspension kits for the best results.

Guide – Which Control System Should I Buy?

This is one of the most common questions we get, and our advice depends on your budget and desired features. If you want to get started with air suspension on your car at a low cost, there’s no better choice than the 4-way manual kit from Air Lift Performance. However, if you’re looking for advanced functionality and user-friendliness, the digital, pressure-based Air Lift 3P system is the obvious choice.

What Is a Manual Control System?

Starting with the basics, all control systems require an air tank, compressor, air hose, and fittings. The main difference lies in how the system is operated. A manual system typically features a pressure gauge integrated into a panel with paddle switches, which control airflow by opening or closing circuits. It’s called a manual system because it has no sensors or feedback to indicate system status. However, if you have a dual-needle pressure gauge - or even two dual gauges - you can monitor each spring or axle’s air pressure. You’ll then establish your own reference between air pressure and ride height.

What’s the Difference Between a Digital and an Analog Control System in an Air Suspension Kit?

A digital control system includes a valve manifold and usually an ECU. The core of digital systems lies in their use of pressure and height sensors, which the computer processes. The data from each air spring tells the valve manifold to open or close the solenoid valves to achieve the desired pressure. With sensors included, you can store preset ride heights - for example, one for a fully lowered stance with minimal air pressure, and another for maximum lift with higher pressure values.

Digital systems also include additional features such as automatic ride height adjustment when the car starts, mobile app control, and diagnostic modes for detecting leaks or other issues. If height sensors are installed, the system can also maintain automatic level control for consistent ride height and comfort.
