• Adjustable damping. All three brands offer this feature, also known as compression/rebound. It refers to a dial on the shock absorber that lets you adjust internal flow, changing how the suspension feels—from soft to firm.
• Hose size and fittings. When building an air kit, getting the right fittings can be tricky. Even if you purchase a complete kit, you’ll likely want an extra 90-degree fitting or bulkhead connector during the build. So plan for that!
