Favored especially in drifting, a 2.0-way LSD delivers the same lockup characteristics under both acceleration and deceleration. Although this setup isnt forgiving for street driving, it is preferred for drifting as it eases the cars ability to break traction under braking.
Every Kaaz limited-slip differential is offered in a SuperQ variant. SuperQ units feature reduced chattering and smoother engagement for an enhanced driving experience. With the help of WPC metal treatment, SuperQ limited-slip differentials also come with better heat dissipation and longer wear life with no break-in process required. Just like all of Kaazs limited-slip differentials, SuperQ units allow for locking rate adjustments.
KAAZ differentials are designed and engineered to be used in competition motorsports. They are supplied from the factory to react quickly and strongly when it reaches the ex-factory preload (100% Locking). This is ideal for smooth, dry tarmac circuit use.
For some drivers/ conditions, a “softer” setting may be required. There are several ways this can be achieved, but the general option is by reducing the amount of friction surfaces. By re-arranging the order of the plates, various options are available depending on the total number of plates in the differential.
The diagram below shows the stacking option for your application. The differential has the same number of plates on both sides and the plate configuration MUST be the same on both. Below shows just one side.
*The original quantity of plates must be retained, as well as the Belleville (cone) spring washer(s)

KAAZ is a well-known brand in diffs, especially for the Japanese car models where they have been very popular for a long time. Recently, the assortment has been broadened to include more car brands and also products. The KAAZ uses a 1.5-way LSD, which is a good upgrade for tuned cars as well as the racing car. 1.5-way works so that it is very active during acceleration, which gives optimal distribution for the grip, but less during braking, so you increase braking stability and get an easier turn into the corner.
