The HKS Metal Catalyzer 150 Cell is designed for the Honda S2000 AP1 (1999-2000) equipped with the F20C engine and forms a key part of HKS's "Total Exhaust Tuning" concept. When combined with the HKS Super Sound Master exhaust system and HKS Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold, it optimises the entire exhaust system for increased power, quicker throttle response, and a more engaging driving experience.

The high-flow metal catalytic converter features a 150 cpsi cell structure, compared to the factory 400 cpsi design, significantly reducing back pressure while maintaining excellent emissions performance. The improved exhaust flow is particularly noticeable at higher engine speeds, allowing the engine to rev more freely with sharper throttle response.

Performance gains are especially evident from around 4,000 rpm and when the F20C engine switches to its high-lift VTEC cam profile. The result is stronger acceleration, improved engine response, and a more exciting driving experience throughout the upper RPM range.

Manufactured from high-quality materials, the HKS Metal Catalyzer offers excellent heat resistance, long-lasting durability, and reliable performance under demanding driving conditions. The vehicle-specific design provides a direct bolt-on installation with OEM-style fitment.
