The AIRTEC Motorsport Gear Shift Assembly ATMSYGR21 for the Toyota GR Yaris Gen 1 is a complete shifter assembly developed to provide shorter, more precise and positive gear changes for both fast road and track use. The design delivers a substantial 40% reduction in gear lever throw while eliminating unwanted slack for a much more direct mechanical feel.

A heavy-duty spring-loaded self-centring mechanism provides a more positive return to centre than the factory shifter. Lever travel can also be finely adjusted to minimise unnecessary movement. The raised gear lever provides a more natural position, while reverse is protected by a lift-up safety collar. Selected gears can also be locked out for competition use.

The base and tower are manufactured from 3mm laser-cut 304-grade stainless steel with a black powder-coated finish. The upper mechanism and gear lever are CNC-machined from high-tensile 7075-grade aluminium and finished in anodised black. The assembly retains the factory gear cables and linkages and requires no modification to the clutch or gearbox.

A model-specific shifter surround is included to cover the lower mechanism and provide a clean OEM+ appearance. Developed using 3D scanning and CAD, the surround is manufactured using Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM).

Please note: Minor trimming to the underside of the centre console is required. This modification is not visible once the console is installed. The shifter also requires correct setup during installation and periodic maintenance, including lubrication.
