We have designed a very slimline condenser and fan skeleton shroud solution that minimises resistance to airflow through the radiator package when the vehicle is up to speed, and are recommended for automotive applications where the condenser is mounted in front of the vehicles radiator. Our skeleton shrouds are fully laser cut aluminium, precision folded and feature flush fitting press-fit studs for the fan.
Applications:
Skeleton shrouds prioritise airflow through the core when the fan is not operational, it therefore offers the least resistance to airflow when the vehicle is in motion. This makes them perfect for use in automotive applications where the condenser radiator is mounted in-front of the engines radiator.
Fully shrouded condensers are best used for applications where they cannot be installed in the direction of airflow. The shroud will maximise the cooling efficiency of the condenser package by allowing the fan to draw air over the entirety of the core and not just immediately under the circumference of the fan.
Our radiators are manufactured out of lightweight aluminium and are fully pressure tested and Nitrogen charged before they leave the factory. The radiators come with a 2 Year Warranty, and the SPAL Radiator Fans come with 3 Years Warranty against manufacturing defects.
