In the early 1940s, Clyde Wiseman went out to his garage in Cleveland, Ohio and started making pistons for himself and a few friends. Word of his incredible quality work spread quickly so in 1941 he started the Wiseco Piston company. The goal was to deliver pistons to all motorsport enthusiasts! With over 70 years in the industry, Wiseco has made a well-known name for themself! They have become incredibly large in most industries where piston engines are used such as motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats and especially cars.

Today Wiseco has their office and manufacturing in Mentor, Ohio. The premises are just under 14,000m²and contain the development department, manufacturing and warehouse, among other things.

Wiseco is one of today's leading manufacturer of forged aftermarket pistons for cars with increased power. They have become that by constantly developing and improving their products to meet the more and more extreme market that has become for high-performance engines. Wiseco develops and manufactures all of their pistons and tooling to make the pistons at their own facilities in the USA. This means that they have full control of the process all the way from raw material to finished product.

Wiseco's goal is to exceed all of their customers' expectations for their kits. Therefore, the kits are carefully produced and complete with the parts required to assemble such as piston rings and piston wrist pins.
