    Since the mid-80s, Fluidampr has developed vibration dampened pulleys for the aftermarket.
    Fluidampr's technology includes a silicone mixture inside the pulley which, according to tests, has been the best formula for absorbing vibrations and absorbing its effect. There is also a free-running ring with tight margins against the belt itself, which centers itself during movement. That is, when the crank starts to spin, the pulley is driven along with the crank's speed, while the ring, together with the silicone mixture, centers itself and absorbs the vibrations and reduces its power. This in turn creates an effect that can be compared to only 2/3 of the pulley's weight/mass being pulled around by the crank while the last part is taken up by the inner ring and the silicone.
