The HKS Metal Catalyzer & Downpipe is designed for the Toyota GR Supra (2019-2022), optimising exhaust flow directly from the turbocharger outlet. This vehicle-specific system reduces back pressure, improves turbo response, and enhances overall engine performance, making it an ideal upgrade for both modified street cars and high-performance engine builds.
Combining a high-flow downpipe with the HKS Metal Catalyzer, the system delivers smooth and efficient exhaust flow from the turbocharger to the centre section of the exhaust. The factory system uses four catalytic converters, while the HKS design replaces them with two high-flow metal catalytic converters that comply with Japanese emissions regulations while significantly reducing exhaust restriction. The result is faster turbo spool, quicker throttle response, and enhanced power delivery without compromising emissions performance.
