The HKS 4-2-1 Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold is designed for the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ (2012+), engineered to maximise the performance of the FA20 boxer engine. By retaining the efficient 4-2-1 layout of the factory manifold while eliminating the primary catalytic converter, the system significantly improves exhaust flow, delivering increased mid-range torque and greater peak power.

The factory manifold is designed to provide good low-end drivability, but the primary catalytic converter creates back pressure and exhaust turbulence that restrict performance, particularly through the mid-range. HKS has optimised the manifold to minimise these restrictions, resulting in a more responsive engine, stronger acceleration, and improved power delivery throughout the RPM range.

At higher engine speeds, the manifold allows the engine to breathe more freely, enhancing the naturally aspirated high-RPM character of the FA20 engine. For maximum performance, HKS recommends pairing the manifold with the HKS Hi-Power SPEC-L Exhaust System and the HKS Front Pipe (without catalytic converter), providing additional power gains and a more distinctive naturally aspirated exhaust note.

Constructed from SUS304 stainless steel, the manifold offers outstanding corrosion resistance, excellent heat resistance, and long-lasting durability, even under demanding track conditions.

Please note: This exhaust manifold is decat and intended for off-road and motorsport use only. Removing the primary catalytic converter may trigger the Check Engine Light (CEL). HKS includes components to help prevent this when using the manifold alone; however, if it is installed together with a decat front pipe, the Check Engine Light will illuminate.
