HKS Stainless Steel Downpipe / Front Pipe - Toyota GT86 / Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S (2012-2021)
The HKS Stainless Steel Downpipe (Front Pipe) is designed for the Toyota GT86, Subaru BRZ, and Scion FR-S (2012-2021), engineered to maximise exhaust flow and perfectly complement the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust System and HKS Race Exhaust Manifold. By replacing the restrictive factory front pipe and catalytic converter, the system significantly improves engine breathing and performance throughout the entire RPM range.
Manufactured from SUS304 stainless steel, the high-flow front pipe features an optimised design with dual resonators. HKS has carefully tuned the sound using frequency analysis to deliver a clean, sporty exhaust note while minimising unwanted resonance and cabin drone.
The system provides an estimated 5 hp increase, improved throttle response, and enhanced drivability across the full RPM range. It is fully compatible with the factory exhaust system as well as any combination of HKS exhaust components.
The lightweight construction is also approximately 0.9 kg lighter than the factory front pipe, contributing to reduced vehicle weight and improved overall performance.
