Heat tape is an innovative way to insulate your exhaust and it certainly offers several advantages. Heat tape, also called exhaust tape, insulates the exhaust and ensures a higher temperature in the exhaust. A hotter exhaust also provides more power, it reduces the temperature under the hood, it protects heat-sensitive parts and ensures a colder air intake temperature. It is therefore also advisable to use heat tape to achieve better results quickly and easily. Heat tape is universally applicable and is widely used in cars, motorcycles, aircraft, boats, agricultural vehicles and industrial applications. Wrapping an exhaust with a heat band is easier than you think, no one needs to take a course for this. We do give you a tip: make sure you have sufficient tire. First measure the part that needs to be packed. Take a standard 4 cylinder manifold as an example, for this you need 15 meters of heat tape. Not sure exactly how much you need or how to measure? We are happy to help you!
Before use, moisten it slightly to activate the flexible material. This will allow the band to be wrapped around the exhaust more smoothly.
Nowadays, the heat band is also used for a nice finished look under the hood, on your exhaust or manifold. Nowadays very popular for café racers, bobbers, brat style and choppers. Applicable for:
