    AEM Intakes was founded in 1987 in California, USA. The two founders combined their technical knowledge and passion for tuned import cars & sport compacts, and created AEM's first air filter. They were optimized for maximum flow and filtration, adapted for tuned cars. This took off and the bright yellow AEM logo was seen more and more in the racing world. The company was also among the first to make prepackaged intake kits that are now a large part of the product catalog.

    Fast forward and today you can find AEM's popular air filters and intake kits around the world. 

    AEM Dry Flow - Filter element that does not require oil

    Having a fresh air filter in your car is important for engine durability and performance. A filter of poor quality can create both bad breathing for the car, which results in poor power and higher fuel consumption, and it can shorten the lifespan of your engine. So think about what filter you buy. Bet on a proper one with good and proven results.

    AEM DryFlow has a filtration of a whopping 99.4% and takes dirt down to an incredible 1 micron. The filter is almost as good full of dirt as when it is clean due to its unique construction and material. These filters are easily washed off with water and then laid out to dry. So no oiling is required afterwards!
