The HKS 278° Exhaust Camshaft Step 2 is designed for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7, 8, and 9 equipped with the 4G63 engine (CT9A). Engineered for high-performance engine builds, it is optimized to improve exhaust flow, increase top-end horsepower, and maximize performance at higher RPM. With a 278° duration and 11.0 mm valve lift, this camshaft enhances cylinder scavenging, creating the ideal conditions for increased power and improved turbocharger efficiency.

Each HKS camshaft is CAD-designed to optimize both torque and horsepower across the widest possible RPM range. Unlike reground factory camshafts, HKS camshafts are precision-machined from brand-new billet cores manufactured from a high-nickel iron alloy.
