A fan controller is the perfect tool to make your electric fan turn on and off as needed. When the engine reaches high temperatures, the fan control activates and starts the fan until the desired temperature is reached again. These controllers come with several different fittings for connecting to the cooling system. The most common type is an adapter that you mount onto the radiator hose. You need to cut the hose and install the adapter between the hose ends. From that adapter, the sensor extends to measure the temperature.

How Do I Set the Temperature for the Electric Fan?
