AN-NPT Adapter

AN-NPT adapters are used to connect AN fittings to NPT threads. NPT (National Pipe Tapered) is a tapered thread standard from the USA, commonly used in hydraulics, piping, fuel systems, and oil coolers. Since NPT threads are tapered, they should always be sealed with thread tape or thread sealant to ensure a completely tight connection.
