The Sparco Matrix Racing Seat is designed to meet the latest FIA 8862-2021 homologation, ensuring an ultra-strong structure and maximum safety. The seat can withstand side impacts up to 42 g and features integrated wraparound headrests that provide additional protection in side collisions while fitting into tight spaces, such as GT car cockpits.
The Matrix seat is made of fiberglass using a unique honeycomb matrix construction that surpasses the strength of traditional carbon fiber seats, but at a more affordable price. The semi-transparent back panel showcases the Matrix technology, giving the seat a modern and high-tech appearance. Shock-absorbing foam around the headrest reduces the risk of injury, while non-slip fabric on the shoulder areas keeps the upper body stable during driving. The deep seat base combined with high side bolsters provides excellent lateral support while keeping the driver’s legs fully within the shell for increased protection in side impacts.
