KONI Special Shock Absorber
KONI Special is an adjustable high-performance shock absorber developed for vans, light commercial vehicles and motorhomes where durability, stability and long-term comfort are essential. As the predecessor to KONI Special Active, the range is engineered to improve handling, driving dynamics and body control compared with worn factory shock absorbers.
Featuring KONI's proven twin-tube construction with adjustable rebound damping, Special allows the damping characteristics to be tailored to vehicle load and driving requirements. The internal Compress-to-Adjust system also provides the ability to compensate for changes in damping performance over time.
KONI Special is particularly suitable for vehicles covering high mileages or regularly carrying heavy loads. Its application-specific engineering delivers improved stability, excellent low-speed damping control and a more composed ride over uneven surfaces. The range includes applications for vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Volkswagen Transporter and Crafter.
