Manley Performance is one of the most respected names in forged performance pistons. All pistons are supplied as complete sets including wrist pins and piston rings, and are suitable for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines depending on configuration.
1. Bore Diameter
Select the bore diameter that matches your engine block. Oversize bores are intended for engine rebuilds where the cylinders have been bored or honed.
2. Standard or Stroker
Select whether the engine uses a standard or modified stroke. Standard is used with the original crankshaft. Stroker or De-stroked is used when the stroke length has been changed. Selecting the correct option is critical for proper fitment.
3. Series
Manley offers different piston series depending on power goals and operating conditions. Platinum Series is optimized for high performance with reduced weight. Turbo Tuff is designed for extreme power levels and high boost applications.
4. Compression Ratio
Select the desired compression ratio for your engine build. Lower compression provides greater margin for high boost. Higher compression improves throttle response and efficiency. Compression ratios are engineered by Manley for each specific engine and piston design.
5. Coating
Select whether the pistons should be supplied with Manley Performance coating. The coating reduces friction and wear, while improving reliability under high load and high power conditions. Without coating is the standard configuration. With coating adds additional protection for demanding applications
