Foliatec brake caliper paints are very popular thanks to their excellent coverage and durability. One kit is enough to paint more than 4 brake calipers.
The kit includes cleaning agent, brush, steel brush and two-component paint.
HOW TO PAINT BRAKE CALIPERS
- Raise the vehicle and remove the wheel. (Always use axle stands!)
- Clean the brake caliper thoroughly using the included steel brush and Brake Cleaner.
- Mask off any parts you do not want to paint and protect the surrounding areas from unwanted paint.
- Mix the brake caliper paint with the hardener using the included spatula.
- For NEON colours: Stir the white base coat with the spatula and apply several thin coats to the brake caliper until it is completely white. Then mix the NEON colour with the hardener.
- Apply the brake caliper paint with the included brush.
- Once painting is complete, allow the paint to dry and cure. Reinstall the wheels once the paint has dried sufficiently. The paint is dust-dry after approximately 2 hours, while full curing takes approximately 5 days.
