TEIN EDFC5 – Next-Generation Intelligent Damper Control
TEIN’s EDFC5 is a cutting-edge electronic damper controller designed to deliver the perfect blend of sharp handling and ride comfort. Developed in collaboration with Prof. Dai Watanabe from Shibaura Institute of Technology, the system introduces jerk-reactive adjustment, automatically modifying damping based on changes in vehicle motion – precisely at the moment of cornering, accelerating, or braking.

- Three-in-one automatic mode: jerk-reactive, G-force-based, and speed-sensitive control
- Manual mode with memory to store and switch between 10 user presets
- Self-diagnostic system and control lockout for enhanced reliability and safety
EDFC5 is compatible exclusively with TEIN dampers, supporting various models for street and motorsport use, such as Street Advance Z, Flex Z, Mono Sport, and more.
