Toyo Tires

Toyo Tires was founded in 1945 and is today one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world. In 2019, they changed the company name to Toyo Tire Corporation as part of showing that it is now one of the key players in the transportation sector. The seat is still in Japan (Itami), but the company has a total of over 12,000 employees and is present in over 120 countries around the world.

In 2005, Toyo Tire Europe GmbH was founded, which is the European department in the group. At that time, they had already been on the European market for over 30 years, but in order to strengthen their position, they want to be present in order to be able to read the market better. In this way, it was possible to see what the need was in a different way, while still drawing synergies with the Japanese head office in terms of sales.

Toyo Tires has a wide range of R tires, summer tires, winter tires and off-road tires but that is above all the Proxes series with R888R at the forefront that stand out on the market. If you then look at the off-road tires, the Open Country series has become very popular with its A/T, M/T and U/T tires.
