1. Bore Diameter
Determines the fit in the engine block. Choose the bore based on your block dimensions - standard or oversize for rebuilds.
2. Standard / Stroker
Standard fits the factory crank stroke. Stroker pistons are designed for engines with increased stroke, providing greater displacement and higher power potential.
3. Piston Volume
Affects the compression ratio. Lower volume increases compression, while higher volume reduces it. Important for matching boost pressure, fuel type, and power goals.
4. AP Coating
A durable coating that reduces friction, protects the piston, and ensures quieter operation - especially beneficial under high load and extended use.
5. Forging Type
Flat side - lighter weight, suitable for mild builds
Strutted - excellent balance between strength and weight
Full round - maximum strength for high-power applications
6. Compression Height
Sets the piston’s position in the cylinder and ensures correct engine geometry. Critical for durability and optimal performance.
