Hardness adjustment affects both compression and rebound in the same control. This means that in 99% of cases the kit will work perfectly straight out of the box. But of course you can also fine-tune the suspension so that you get a chassis that behaves exactly as you want without the risk of you misaligning yourself! As many know, comfort is a large part of handling. It is not a racing driver who performs at his peak in a car that feels like it is about to shake apart. Öhlins salt spray tests these kits and through hard tests and development of materials, they have succeeded in producing kits that can withstand harsh conditions!
